It's down to a repeat of the 2008 Finals with the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers. It seems that these two teams really can't stand each other and their fans are rabid about (a.)their love for their own team and (b.)their hatred for the other team. In 2008, the Celtics won this series. I'm wondering if they can do it again. It's tough to say with Kobe and crew being en fuego, but on the Celtics side, lets not forget that Rondo has been the darling of the playoffs.
The first game is in LA this Thursday, and I'll be watching from Vero Beach with two of my favorite sports fans, my neice Mason (10) and my nephew Phillip (12). They don't really like either of the teams, but both think the Lakers will win, Phillip in game 6, Mason in game 7. Their mother, my sister Melanie, thinks the Celtics will win in 7 games. But right now the family is a little more focused on Mason's volleyball team (the Vero Beach Rivers) playing for the national championship. Go Rivers!

Okay, I'm going to need the specifics of celebrities at the game. And pictures. I just might become a Lakers fan purely to get autographs! :)
I'm with Michelle. That Mark Wahlburg gives me "good vibrations". Great picture of Mason with Scout's tush. Tell her good luck!
Love your blog, Lacy. If I can't "visit" you on fb, I'll just have to do it here! Go Celtics - beat down those nasty Lakers!! Jenn Reiter Stewart
Marky Mark? I might find it in my heart to root for the Celtics yet. (If only Pierce could turn his frown upside down without that snide-looking smirk.) First lacrosse now volleyball. Double-threat Mason may rank triple when she takes up fencing this fall. What a huge accomplishment to play for the national championships! Best of luck to the Vero Beach Rivers! May the tide run in your favor.
Way to go Mason..wish we could be there for the games. GO RIVERS!!
We will be pulling for you
